You will depart your hotel at 9 a.m., via private transportation, for a driving tour of the City by the Bay. Our professional guide will stay with you throughout the day, providing fascinating narratives on the rich history of Northern California & San Francisco. This tour may include visits to San Francisco neighborhoods, Lombard Street, Lincoln Park—home of The Palace of The Legion of Honor, the Cliff House, Ocean Beach, Golden Gate Park, China Town, North Beach and end at Fisherman’s Wharf. Lunch reservations will be made at either one of two family-owned San Francisco institutions for fabulous seafood: Scomas or A. Sabellas. Both restaurants enjoy a rich tradition in cuisine excellence and picturesque views of the San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz Island and the Wharf. A glass of premium California wine is included with lunch. After lunch you will travel to Pier 41 to board the ferry to Alcatraz Island. The exploration of this legendary island includes an audiotape presentation that can be enjoyed in most languages and a two-hour stroll over the famous landmark. You will return to your hotel by 4:30 p.m. Includes: Transportation with professional tour guide, lunch with wine, tickets and guided audio tour of Alcatraz Island. Cost: Price provided upon request.
