Born in S
eattle to fourth generation hoteliers, I joinedViviani Destination Management in 1995 after a 20 year career in hotels.
My early life was spent in and around hotels throughout North America, traveling with the family. I was exposed early on to haute cuisine and European wines. I was never interested in any other career other than hotels. The hotel program at Washington State University was my choice as at the time it was the countrys finest.
My hotel journeys started in Seattle with Western International Hotels, the precursor to the Starwood Westin brand. Stops in Portland and Boston were intermixed with seven years at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco.
In 1991, my travels brought me to the Napa Valley, where I found my true calling working in a destination resort. For the first time, I was able to interact with our preferred Destination Management Company, Linda Viviani.
In August, 1995, I joined the Viviani team, specializing in group corporate and incentive business.
